He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Faye Thomas Russell; and his grandson Bryan Russell Sexton. He is survived by: his children, Vincent Markham "Mark" Russell Jr. (Linda) and Bonnie Russell Sexton; his grandchildren, Bridget George, Christopher Russell and Heather Hines; his great grandchildren, Brianna Wooten, Katie Sexton and Hyla George; his great great grandchild Novaleigh Wooten; and his niece Karin Hancock. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Association at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 18100 Genito Road, Moseley, Va. 23120.
