With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Adam Clyde Mitterer (Moseley, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter, Joy Mitterer, Oscar and Faye Smith; and his uncles, Steven Mitterer and Oscar Smith Jr..
He is survived by: his parents, Stanley Mitterer and JoAnn Cummings; his stepfather Eugene Cummings; his children, Ryland, Ryder, Rye Ann and Maverick Mitterer; his sister Ashley Warden (William); his nieces, Brielle and Lena; his nephew Dylan; his aunts and uncles, Mark Mitterer (Johnna), Joe Mitterer (Michelle), Ronnie Neise (Debbie), Bobbie Smith (Mike) and Teresa Loving; and his cousins, Alicen, Emily, Justin, Hayley, Kayla, Brandon and Candice.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's Chippenham (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Skinquarter Baptist Church (6900 Moseley Rd, Moseley, VA 23120).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Skinquarter Baptist Church or Bear Swamp Baptist Church.
