He was predeceased by: his parents, Auville Thomas Powers and Edna Johnson Powers; his brother Lynwood Powers; and his son Gary Norman Powers. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Connor Powers; his children, Sean Eric Powers (Heather) and Erin Michelle Davis; his grandchildren, Teal Shephard (Nate), Christopher Powers (Rachel), Amythest Davis, Jade Jenkins (Josiah) and Olivia Brown (Jarrett); and his sister-in-law Connie Powers. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
