He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Karen Booth; his wife Isabel Ortiz Booth; his father Tommy Booth; his daughter Miriam Ornelas; his grandchildren, Alex Avila and Jasmin Avila; his son Edgar Ornelas; his daughter-in-law Shirin Ornelas; his granddaughter Gia Ornelas; his sister Angie Kinzie (Braden); his niece Tia Kinzie Peery (Trey); his nephew Kendall Kinzie (Brittany); his great-nephew Cameron Peery; and his great-nieces, Kayla Peery and Madison Kinzie. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and extended family.
