Ruth Warren Canaday Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Warren Canaday of Montross, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel P. Warren and Irma B. Warren. She is survived by: her husband William H. Canaday (Bill); her pets, Boots and Willow; her siblings, Kenneth P. Warren, David S. Warren, John W. Warren and Mary Sue Holtcamp (Mark); her children, William Royce Ball (Bobby), Christina Leigh (Christy) and Tracy Ball Mazzoni (Darren); her stepsons, Brandon Canaday (Sara), Christopher Canaday (Barry) and Brian Canaday; her grandchildren, Ryan, Liam Ball, Braedon, Graham, Abby, Taylor and Cole Canaday; and her cousin Loney O'Bier (Durward). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Canaday family is asking those who wish to give a gift in memory of our beloved Ruth to support one of the many organizations that were near to her heart; the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
