He is survived by: his wife Ann Killough; his children, Robert Elam, Jr. (Rose Ochoa), John Elam (Monica), Robyn Elam Evans and Danyelle Townsend (Kenneth Tew); his daughter-in-law Margaret Gardner Elam; his sisters, Dorothy Gene Oxendine (Bill) and Mary Ann Smith (Ray); and his grandchildren, Campbell, Decker (Porter Elam), Francisco (Samantha Elam), Kallie (Marissa Elam), Jack, Jacey (Jayla Evans), Claudia (Erika Ludden) and Kylagh (Cameron Tew).
