He was predeceased by: his father George Edward Sandy. He is survived by: his wife Julia Marie Sandy; his sons, Richard Cory Sandy (Rachel), Justin Ryan Sandy and Michael Brandon Sandy; his mother Alice Sandy Blanton; and his siblings, Christopher Edward Sandy (Vickie), William Page Sandy (DeAnne) and Tracey Lynn James (Mark). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
