He is survived by: his wife Nancy Anderson; his children, James Gregory Anderson (Brenda) of Martinton, IL, William Ray Anderson (Karen) of Stafford, VA, Wessley Ringgold (Donna) of Lusby, Van Mercer (Lene), Julie Marie Anderson of Pensacola, Barbara Ringgold of Richmond, VA, Janice Mercer of Florida and Patricia Mercer of Maryland; and his sister Shirley Stocks (Jimmy) of Florida. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.
