He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Squires and Louise Kilmon Squires; and his brothers, William, Charles (Lorraine), Wayne and Harry Lee Squires.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Brenda Kay; his wife Darline V. Squires; his son George S. Squires (Brenda Kay) of Hague; his grandchildren, Megan Squires and Matthew Squires; his mother-in-law Learline Chatham; and his sister-in-law Brenda Squires. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
