He is survived by: his wife Dawna; his stepson Scott Weslocky (Sarah); his grandson Bryce of King George, VA.; his former wife Barbara Wright; his daughter Nicole "Niko" Denise McElwain Johnson (Justin); his grandson Payton James McKinley Johnson of Washington, DC.; and his siblings, John McElwain (Jeannie) of Crownsville, MD, Marilyn Italiano (Frank) of Conway, SC and Hugh McElwain of Richmond, VA.. He is also survived by Seven nieces and nephews; Seventeen great-nieces and nephews; Eight great-great nieces and nephews; One great-great-great nephew.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel (11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485).
