She was predeceased by: her parents, Stafford Haga and Louise Haga; and her sister Frances Knight. She is survived by: her husband Wallace McGinness; her sons, Dale McGinness (Kimberlee) and Richard McGinness (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Nicholas McGinness (Hailey), Emily McGinness and Erin McGinness.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Samaritan's Purse or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
