He is survived by: his wife Dottie Doggett Purdy; his children, Ronnie Purdy (Sonia) and Regina Neighbors (Todd); his stepsons, Robert Carter (Susan), Richard Carter (Tammy) and Sgt. Major Kevin Carter (Catilin); and his sister-in-law Margaret Landrum. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren.
