He was predeceased by: his former wife Minta Rice; his wife Bessie Mae Hall; and his grandson David. He is survived by: his children, Tony (Jeraldine), Rosewell Jr. (Peggy), Charles David (Joan), Joanne (Jim) and Diane (Peter); and his grandchildren, Wanda Jones, Rosewell Jones III, Sheryl Flory, Deborah Inge, Brenda Taylor, Ann Venne, Pam Bryant and Jean. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests. Memorial Contributions to the Shiloh Cemetery and Beautification Fund.
