It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Mosby-Brett of Montpelier, Virginia, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bryan Wood and Bessie Wetzler Wood; her brother Larry Lee Wood; her husband Allen Mosby; and her sons, Eugene Cox, Larry Brett and George Allen Mosby.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Pitman (Steve), Sheila Dixon (Charlie) and Dana Mosby; her brother George Larkin Wood; her grandchildren, Stacey Mihelich (Rusty), April Creger (Cody), Carrie Hammel (Scott), John Mosby, Nick Thompson and Ross Thompson; her great grandchildren, Avery, Eleanor, Madison, Anthony, Mylee, Haylee, Griffin, Cecilia, Lily and Thomas; and her friend Elizabeth Ann Mauney.
