It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry G. Cooke of Montpelier, Virginia, born in Warsaw, North Carolina, who passed away on May 24, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cooke and Thelma Cooke; and his brothers, CJ, Ollie and Billy Cooke.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Knott Cooke; his daughter Catey Dickensheets (Scott); his granddaughter Riley Dickensheets; his siblings, Helen Cooke English, Bobby and Jerry Cooke (Connie); and his sister-in-law Lindy Knott Kibler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Locust Creek Volunteer Fire Department, 575 Bethany Church Rd. Bumpass, VA 23024.
