With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Brown of Montpelier, Virginia, born in Sample, Kentucky, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown and Evelyn Arnold Brown; and his sisters, Joyce Patmore, Sue Dunn and Barbara Hardesty.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Hinton Brown; his daughters, Missy Stanley (Joel) of Ashland, VA and Shannon Jones (Ronnie) of Ashland, VA; his granddaughter Grace Stanley; and his sister Jean Horsley of Brandenburg, KY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
