He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy E. Davis; and his children, Donald Lee, Nancy and Lesa. He is survived by: his children, Ernest F. Davis Jr. (Sandra G. Davis), Donna Ray Lane (Clyde Lane) and Faye Larrabee; and his siblings, Burford Davis and Florance Ann Payne. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
