She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon William Winston and Deaconess Fannie Mae Johnson; her friends, Gertrude Fountain, Jeanette Thomas, Jean Lee and Arlene Derricott; and also, Patti and John Nicholas.

She is survived by: her siblings, Frances Roberta Johnson High, Robert Wilson, Bernard (Mae) and Samuel Roosevelt (Estelle); her sons, Ralph L. (Barbara) and Michael (Rose); and her grandchildren, Justice Wells and Anthony Woody.

She could always be depended on to help and when she could not physically do so, she was always there with a financial donation.
