He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Stanley Jr. (Jim), Mildred Powell, Maury Stanley and Jean Hockaday. He is survived by: his wife Eula Mae Stanley; his son Todd Stanley (Candace); his grandson Owen Stanley; and his siblings-in-law, Lillian Crawley, Bertie Crawley, Elizabeth Crawley (Twinkle), Jean Massey and Earl Crawley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter's Methodist Church.
