She is survived by: her brother Stacy; her children, Ieisha, Trayvon, Denesha, Frederick Jr. Nothing and Carolyn; her husband Frederick Carter; her grandchildren, Naz (Jae), Marcellus, Za'Kwon and Demani; her godchildren, Khadedra, Tashi, T'Aani and Tinae; her brothers, Ernest Morris (Linda) and Stacey Morris (Elaine); her mother-in-law Inez Banks (Gabriel); her aunts and uncles, Gertrude Fountain, Melinda Henderson, Alice Morris, Gloria Morris, Louise Pleasants, Bertha Gattison (James), Dedric Morris and Theodore Jackson; her nieces and nephews, Nakesha (Tamika), Aryiana, Ameri, Shameka (Sam), Jaala, Mackenzie, Gabriella, Ernest, Jr., Stacy, Jr., Barney, Jr., Timothy, Jr. and Alijah; her great-nephews, Kymani and Mykel; her siblings-in-law, Cindy Carter and Alton Banks; her cousins, Melissa Shelton, Amy Morris, Felicia Jackson, Percy James, Jr. and Dewayne Morris; and her friend Michelle Tyler. She is also survived by other cousins, family members, and friends.
She attended services regularly until early 2020 with the onset of the COVID virus.
