She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey L Amos and Mae Amos; her siblings, Lillian Armstrong, Betty Dunivan and Henry Amos; and her husband James Boswell.

She is survived by: her sister Hilda Harper; and her children, James E. Boswell (Eddie), Brenda Spinks and Lorraine Noel. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lacy Funeral Home (6241 Cross County Rd, Mineral, VA 23117). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hopeful Baptist Church (14340 Hopeful Church Rd, Montpelier, VA 23192).
