She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Carter and Lettie Ann Carter (Hill); and her siblings, Lorene Welch, Hobart Carter, Donald Carter, Harold Carter, Agnes Carrie Carter and Helen Shupe.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Wayne Fields of Montpelier, IN, Joseph C. Fields, Christopher T. Fields (Venus), Rebecca Ann Fields of Galena, OH and Jessica Lynn Fields; and her grandchildren, Megan Hayward of Montpelier, IN, Britton Fields, Alexis "Lexi" Fields, Kurtis Fields, Robert "Robbie" Fields, Dustin Coleman, Ashley Coleman, Kelsey Fields, Nevaeh Fields and Jordan Brown. She is also survived by 20 Great Grandchildren.
