He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Godsey (Taylor) and Raymond Elmore Godsey; and his wife Linda Godsey. He is survived by: his children, Raymond "Buckie" E. Godsey III of Mathews, Molly Godsey, Linda Neave (Barry) of Monterey, Robin, Jessica, Hunter Kellum, Ryan, Harold Skelton, Gavin, Violet, Piper Neave, Tim Lovett (Tracy) of Front Royal, Tiffany, T. J., Stella Wirfs, Trisha Lovett, Macie, Hudson Morningstar, Tori, Colby and Maddie Pamplin; his close friends, Olin, Judy Waybright, Sandie Hockman and Kevin Goodbar; and his grandsons, Robin Kellum of Raymond Godsey, IV, Ryan, Harold Skelton and Gavin Neave.
