He was predeceased by: his parents, William Echard and Rosie Echard (Halterman); his grandson Gregory Lee Jamison; and his sisters, Grace Simmons, Lucy Puffenbarger, Mamie Armstrong, Catherine Echard and Allene Gutshall.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Rexrode; his daughters, Jeanette Lynn Jamison of Franklin, WV and Beverly Diane Echard of Monterey; his granddaughter Alissa Smith of Harrington, Delaware; and his great grandchildren, Kaeli Rae and Tarun Quinn Smith.
