It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Mae (Wimer) Varner of Monterey, Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Eldridge and Duffie Madeline Wimer (Withrow); her husband Douglas B. Varner; her daughter Donna Varner Lotts; and her brothers, Marlin, Dale and William Wimer.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Varner White (Pete) of Mustoe; her grandchildren, Tiffany White of Bridgewater and Corey White of Mustoe; her son-in-law David Lotts of Monterey; her brother Russell Wimer (Faye) of New Market; and her sister-in-law Sherry Wimer of New Market. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
