She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Simmons and Leta Belle Simmons (Mitchell); and her husband Garland S. Dever. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Yvonne Oelke (Bruce) of Garner, N. C, Betty Gail Hiner (Jeff) of Monterey, Garland "Gene" Dever (Judy) of Monterey and Charles Thomas "Tom" Dever (Becky) of Monterey; and her grandchildren, Audrey Denton, Tammy Oelke, Deidre Jones, Jaime Downing, Shauna Dever, Christos Dever, Monika Eckard and Vicky Dever. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
