He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Taylor and Mary Susan Hiner (Waggy); and his siblings, Harvey Hiner, Hattie Lovegrove, Helen LeSeur, Hilda Palkot, Hallie Harris and Ralph Hiner.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hiner of Monterey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as several very special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Obaugh Funeral Home - Highland County (8739 Highland Turnpike, McDowell, VA 24458). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
