He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stanley and Evelyn Mary Dever (Crummett); and his sister Mary Carolyn Hooke. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Jean Simmons; his children, Gloria Yvonne Oelke (Bruce) of Garner, N. C, Betty Gail Hiner (Jeff) of Monterey, Garland "Gene" Dever (Judy) of Monterey and Charles Thomas "Tom" Dever (Becky) of Monterey; and his grandchildren, Audrey Denton, Tammy Oelke, Deidre Jones, Jaime Downing, Shauna Dever, Christos Dever, Monika Eckard and Vicky Dever. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
