She was predeceased by: her parents, Leafy Florence (Simmons) and Clement Simmons; her husband Elmer Lee Helmick; and her brother Jimmy Whitecotton. She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Waggoner of Monterey and Sharon Moyers (John Jr.) of Doe Hill; her grandchildren, Rebecca Harris (William "Wee") of Churchville, Laura Moyers (Thomas McRoberts) of Hot Springs and Ashley Hutchinson (K. C.) of Monterey; her great grandchildren, Courtney Newlen (Jeremy), Caitlyn Black (Rusty), Hannah Harris (Anthony Edmonds), Kylie Arbogast, Kenner Hutchinson, Grace Fisher, Quinn Lambert, Emma Lambert and Daisy Hutchinson; her great great grandchild Molly Maye Black; her half-brother Johnny Whitecotton (Nancy) of Monterey; and her grandchildren, Travis Halterman and Amy Johnson.
