She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyrus Townsend and Josephine Townsend (Adams); and her brother Eddie Townsend. She is survived by: her husband Ernie Lightner; her daughter Abigail Adams of Key West, Fla.; her sister Nell Peabody of Palm Bay, Fla; and her grandson Hunter Harper. She is also survived by her nieces and two nephews.
