She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sam and Emma Gibson Maddox; and her siblings, Clayton Maddox, Celmer Morgan, Eleanor Dowdy, E. Wayne Maddox and Barbara Horn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Martin (Rick) of Lynchburg and Teresa McCrickard (Barry) of Amherst; her siblings, Thomas Maddox (Joyce) of Amherst and Vernie Angus of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Jessica McCrickard (Zellina Morgan) and Tori Huffman (Jackson Connell); and her caregivers, Teresa Jennings, Sylvia Griffin, Wanda Scott and Karen Jamerson.
