She was predeceased by: her father Henry George Martin; and her brothers, Charlie, Jeff and Christopher Martin. She is survived by: her husband Percy Johns; her mother Ruth Martin of Monroe; her daughter Samantha Savotti (John); her grandson Devin Jackson (Bedford); her siblings, Linda Martin of Monroe, Peggy Jones (Joey) of Portsmouth, John Martin of Madison Heights and Scott Martin (Brenda) of Monroe; and her mother-in-law Bertie Branham. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Keeping with Jeannie's wishes, there will not be a service and her body is being donated for medical research to the Virginia State Anatomical Program. Those wishing to make donations in honor of Jeannie's memory, please consider making donations to an animal rescue/shelter of your choice as she loved animals, especially her beagles.
