Parker Dodd Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Parker Dodd of Monroe, Virginia, who passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mamie Mason Dodd; his parents, Claude Swanson Dodd and Fannie Conner Dodd; his grandson Adam Dodd; and his siblings, Walker, Luther, Hubbard, Hampton, Leighton, Annie Morris, Mattie Dodd, Sadie Nelson and Irene Clark.

He is survived by: his children, Benita Unrue (Ronnie) of Monroe, Wanda Holt (Lloyd) of Phenix, Cindy Mae Dodd of Richmond and James "Bo" Dodd (Donna) of Monroe; his sisters, Jean Bigger of Keysville and Hilda Smith of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Janell Stinnett (H. B.), Bobby Unrue, Joshua Holt, Megan Stanfield (Erik), Jenna Amos (Alex), Kelly Wall (David) and Jennifer Woodard (Mark); and his great grandchildren, Parker Stinnett (Eion Conrick), Hunter Stinnett, James, Charlie, Anna Stanfield, Briggs, Baylor Amos, Bryce, Turner, Sadie Wall, Tate and Heath Woodard.
