He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Joyce Maberry West; and his father William West. He is survived by: his mother Myrtle Wendell West Daugherty of Oak Hill, OH; his children, Charles D. West of Amherst, Stephen W. West of Monroe and Michelle L. West of Monroe; his brother William "Buzzy" West; his grandchildren, Stephen Michael "Mikey" West and Jessica Lynn West (Blake Padgett); his great grandchild Brinley Lynn Padgett; and his pet Miss Sadie Anne.
