She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Waugh, Sr. and Florine D. Waugh; and her siblings, Mary W. Hendrix and Samuel Roscoe Waugh, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband James Earl Brown, Sr.; her sons, James Earl Brown, Jr. (Melissa) and Mark Anthony Brown (Kathe); her grandsons, Keshawn M. Jackson, Marquis L. Brown, Dominique J. Brown, Demetrus M. Brown, Christopher A. Brown and Andre L. Brown; her siblings, Alease W. Horsley and Charlie L. Waugh Donald L. (Emma); and her aunts, Dorothy Jones and Cammie Miller of Richmond. She is also survived by 11 great grand children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Timothy Baptist Church (2061 Buffalo Springs Turnpike, Amherst, VA 24521). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
