She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Gus Burford and Eloise Woodroof Burford; her husband Edward "Whis" Young; and her siblings, Roland Hugh Burford, Jack Otway Burford, Edward Scott Burford, Barbara Ann Brown, Carolyn Stinnett, Rosalee Craft and Geraldine McConnell.
She is survived by: her sons, Allen Young (Patricia) of Madison Heights, John Young (Dianne) of Elon and Paul Young (Ginger) of Goochland; her sister Rachel Tomlin of Big Island; her grandchildren, Allena Tarvin (Mike) of Monroe, Krista Moore (Brad) of Big Island, Spencer Young of Madison Heights, Lauren Carrington (John) of Lynchburg, Craig Young (Angie) of Manassas, Harry Young of Charlotte, NC, Thomas Young (Taresa) of Powhatan, Richard Young of Richmond and Virginia Young of Richmond; her great grandchildren, Dillon Tarvin (Taylor), Delanie Tarvin (Nico), Maggie Baez (Brandon), Page, Elizabeth Carrington, Arkyn Young, William, Addison, John Dameron and Jameson Young; and also Margaret Huffman (Nancy Wooten). She is also survived by her family and friends.
