He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Anthony Meyer and Blanche Walter Meyer; his wife Mary Leslie Behrens Meyer; and his brothers, Robert, Gerald and Leon.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce and Kathy Cottle; his granddaughters, Jennifer Sliter and Amy Cottle; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Declan; his siblings, Marcelline Grassman and Joe A. Meyer of Wooster, OH; and his close friend Charles Chauvin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
