He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest W. Smith, Jr. and Betty Mae Poland Smith; and his brother Rodney Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Smith (King); his children, Crystal Smith of Berryville and Andrew Smith (Drew) of Manassas; and his brother Gordon Smith (Connie) of Moneta. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and close family friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel (158 Catoctin Cir SE, Leesburg, VA 20175). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In accordance with Mike's wishes, the family invites donations in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society to help support the fight against cancer or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (http://www.t2t.org.) helping families of first responders, veterans, and September 11 victims.
