She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius "Jiggs" McManaway and Dorothy McManaway; her husband Terry Howell, Sr.; her son Timothy Howell; and her sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Franklin.
She is survived by: her son Terry Howell, Jr. (Melissa); her grandsons, Travis Howell, Justin Howell and Joshua Howell; her great grandchildren, Siane, Aeris and Caden Howell; her sister Linda Gardner (Harford); her cousins, Warren and Anna Gardner; her sons, Leigh Gardner and Keith (Karen Franklin, family: John, Sonja Franklin); her aunt Rachel Saunders; and her caregiver Rita McNeil. She is also survived by family, John and Sonja Franklin and daughters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beaverdam Baptist Church (10665 Stewartsville Rd, Vinton, VA 24179). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
