He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chandler and Irene Chandler. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Chandler; his children, Scott B. Chandler (Rose Gray) of Blacksburg, VA and Shelley R. Chandler of Durham, NC; his sister Carolyn Baxter; his niece Debbie Miller (Perry) of Charlotte, NC; and his brother-in-law Charles Young (Joan).
