She was predeceased by: her parents, John Francis Shields and Irene Veronica Byrnes; her siblings, John (Jack), Thomas, Francis (Frank) and Janet Cerney; and her husband James Francis Mahon Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Mahon, Sharon Mahon (James Padowicz) and James F. Mahon III; her grandchildren, Lindsay Grindo (Thomas Grindo), David Padowicz (Katia Kobayashi Avanzini), Kevin Padowicz and Rachel Padowicz (Dane Anker); her great grandchildren, Claire and Nicholas Grindo; and her caregivers, Vicki, Becky, Sarah, Pratt and Generations Solutions. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, a collection of cousins, and her countless close friends.
