It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Thayer Lentz of Moneta, Virginia, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Edward Lentz and Ada Lohr Lentz; and his siblings, Russell Lentz and Loretta Fuller. He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Lentz; his children, Francis Derek Lentz and Leslie Lentz Caldwell; his children-in-law, Lucy Lentz and C. Stan Caldwell; his grandchildren, JoJo Lentz, Lurek Evans, Christina Lentz, Nicole Driscoll and Jason Caldwell; and his sister Annie Campbell. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
