It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Whitley of Moneta, Virginia, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Waverly Whitley and Elizabeth Whitley; and his children, Shannon Abreu and Donald Whitley Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Owens Whitley; his grandchildren, Rachel Bays (Allen), Brandon Abreu and Lauren Tarkenton (James); and his great grandchildren, Braden, Jimmy and Lily.
