David Phelps Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Phelps of Moneta, Virginia, who passed away on June 30, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy Hopson Phelps; his parents, D. M. Phelps and Rubye R. Phelps; his children, Melissa Phelps Firestone of Ashburn, VA and Steven Phelps (Sabrina) of Fairview Heights, IL; his grandchildren, Hunter, Kelsi, Ashtin, Abigail, Caroline and Caithen; his brother Thomas Phelps (Christine); and his close friend Maxine Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to SML Good Neighbors, Lake Christian Ministries, or the cancer research charity of one's choice.
