It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Anderson Coleman of Moneta, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Carolyn Anderson departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carolyn Anderson. Though Carolyn Anderson may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dan Gordon Coleman; and her parents, Loraine Lindsey Anderson and Robert T. Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Coleman Fox (Rich) of Salem, VA and Robert W. "Robby" Coleman (Lisa) of Appomattox, VA; her grandsons, Coleman Fox and Riley Fox; and her sister Constance McDearmon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Ecumenical Parish (40 Lakemount Dr, Moneta, VA 24121). Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reedy Spring Baptist Church (1315 Reedy Spring Rd, Spout Spring, VA 24593). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Reedy Spring Baptist Church Cemetery (1315 Reedy Spring Rd, Spout Spring, VA 24593).
