She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Junior and Logene Greer Arrington Spencer; her niece Monica Lynn Pagans; and her grandmother Nannie Grace Perdue Arrington. She is survived by: her husband Dayton Nathaniel Perdue; her children, Nathan Perdue (Alice), J. T. Perdue (Jennifer), Timmy Ray Perdue (Machelle) and Jimmy Wade Perdue (Sara); her grandchildren, Ashley Nichols, J. T. Perdue Jr., Chris Harris, Nate Perdue, Marguerite Perdue, Brendon Perdue and Megan Perdue; her great grandchildren, Joel Bryant and Natalie Nichols; her siblings, Tommy Arrington (Hazel) of Wirtz, Earl "Eagle" Arrington of Ferrum, Betty Stump (Bo) of Bassett, Frederick Dale Arrington of Wirtz and Reba Sink (Paul) of Rocky Mount; and her close friend Gloria Haley.
