It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Carter of Moneta, Virginia, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odus Bolling and Ocie Kincer Bolling; and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Carter Wright (Bruce) and Paul Andrew Carter (Donna); her grandchildren, Bethany Wright Shumate (Jonathan), Jessica Wright Huang (Ching), Andrew Wright, Molly Carter Wilson (Joe) and Jake Carter (Summer); her great grandchildren, Isaac Huang, Charlotte Huang, Rebekah Shumate, Elizabeth Shumate, Caleb Shumate, Sarah Shumate and Everleigh Carter; and her sister Margaret Bolling Garrett (Wayne).
