He was predeceased by: his father John Ardis Onley, Jr.; his son John Tyler Onley (Linda Carlton); and his stepdaughter Kristen Carlton. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Carlton; his daughters, Jacqueline E. Bowles (Jonathan) and Katelyn E. Gettys (Brandon); his mother Jacqueline Onley; his sisters, Sara Outten and Trisha Swier (Dave); his stepson Clay Carlton; and his grandsons, Bryce Bowles, Colin Bowles and Jacob Carlton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donation to the Eastern Shore SPCA in honor of John's love of animals.
