It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Gene Ayoub of Modest Town, Virginia, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his fathers, Paul Spella and Fred Ayoub; and his sister Doreen Beasley. He is survived by: his close friend Lee Hala; his daughters, Dawn Hopkins (Ronnie) of New Church, VA, Roseanna Nelson of Painter, VA and Belinda Eavenson of Texas; his stepdaughter Kimberly Brewster (James) of West, VA; his siblings, Mary Harris, Paula Lowman, Ruby Murphy, Carleen McCabe, Charleen Reynolds and John Ayoub; his grandchildren, Jenny Miller, Madalyn Hopkins, Brianna Nelson, Samantha St. John (Braden), Dustin Nelson, Nathaniel Nelson, Dazaray Ayoub, Lorena Hopkins and Elizabeth Hopkins; the mother of his children Brenda Saunders; and his close friend Brian Alfree. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
