He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Roberts and Edna M. Roberts; and his siblings, James "Jim" Roberts, Mary Perry, Beulah Ford and Jean Fariss.

He is survived by: his nephews, James Ford and Billy Ford; and his niece Dana Fariss.
